PF 300 Flow Gel 72
300 g of carbohydrate in one 510 g pouch meant to be poured into a bottle or flask rather than squeezed neat -- at 7.3 cents a gram, almost exactly what Precision already charges per gram for its own PF 90 Gel, just scaled into a format built for a whole ride instead of one 90 g hit.
Score breakdown
Each dimension below is scored 0 to 100 against a fixed scale, not against the rest of the catalog, so adding a product never moves this number. The overall score is the average of the dimensions this product declares data for. How the scales are set →

Verdict
what it does · what it costsWhat it does well
- 300 g of carbohydrate from a single pouch, over 3x a PF 90 Gel and 10x a PF 30 Gel, meaning fewer individual gels to carry, open, and pack out.
- States a 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio (1:0.5), the same blend Precision uses across PF 30 and PF 90, rather than leaving it undisclosed.
- Six-ingredient label: maltodextrin, water, fructose, pectin, citric acid, two preservatives. Nothing beyond what's needed to move the carbohydrate.
- 7.3 cents a gram lands almost exactly on PF 90 Gel's 7.4 cents, so the jump to a 300 g format doesn't carry a size premium.
What it costs you
- Zero sodium. Precision's own product copy says the gel carries no electrolytes and is meant to be paired with the PH tablet range, same gap as PF 90 Gel, just at 3x the volume.
- No sugars breakdown on the label, only total carbohydrate (300 g); we can't say how much of that is fructose versus maltodextrin beyond the stated 2:1 ratio.
- $21.99 for a single pouch is a real one-time spend, and it's sold as an individual unit; no box/multi-pack discount was listed at any retailer checked.
- Nearly twice the per-gram cost of SiS Beta Fuel gel (6.3 cents/g), even though it undercuts Maurten Gel 100 (15 cents/g) by half.

the numbers, appliedThe field tells you what it is. This is who should act on it.
Worth the money if
- You want to pre-load a flask or soft bottle with a whole ride's worth of carbohydrate instead of managing a stack of small gels.
- You already use PF 90 Gel and want the same ratio and cost per gram scaled into one big format.
- You already carry sodium separately (PH tabs, a drink mix) and don't need this gel to cover it.
Look elsewhere if
- You want a gel you can eat neat without decanting it into a bottle first.
- You need sodium built into your carbohydrate source.
- You're fueling short enough that 300 g is far more than you'll use in one session.
